PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

At Newnan Classical School we believe that parents are, as called by God, ultimately responsible for their child's education. Parents should be visibly and actively involved in the education/schooling experience both at home and on the school campus. Parents are allowed and encouraged to observe and/or volunteer in their Child's classroom,during activities such as field trips or even to join their child for lunch at the school.

We realize that each family has other obligations and callings which occupy their time and we appreciate this fact. With this in mind, however, please consider that when you covenant with Newnan Classical School to educate your children it is imperative that we all be passionately involved in this process. When schedules permit, we greatly appreciate any contribution of time and resources that our families are willing to make.

The Christian education of our children is time consuming to be sure, but we must consider it to be of such great importance that we are willing to make sacrifices beyond that of paying tuition. Just as the parents who are represented on the staff and governing board of Newnan Classical School, those parents who volunteer when they are able, contribute greatly to the success of this high calling.

Perhaps this sounds too burdensome to be worth it. If so, please consider the importance of your child's life and his or her future impact for Christ our King. Also, consider that as a community of like minded people we work together to ensure that the burden rarely becomes as great as it sounds above.
